Call it a Comeback

Call it a Comeback

We have been through a lot.  All of us. For some, routine life is a distant memory. For others, it has taken the form of a cavalcade of inconvenience. No one has been spared...But, as the vaccination levels heighten and warmer temps arrive you can start to see shimmers of normalcy return. Whether that is a big thing like a week at the beach or a seemingly small thing, like hugging your parent, the comeback has begun and we are here for it.

On the Aktiv front we are fully vaccinated and ready to roll. Nate is headed to Red Rocks this Sunday to take in some live music. It has been far too long. Leslie has been adventuring out and even met someone for coffee last weekend. #FikaTime.

Our shop has seen a noticeable uptick in foot traffic with many customers declaring they haven't been in a shop in over 16 months. It is great to see their masked faces!

As for what is holding our attention:

Sports: How about Chelsea!!!! After dispatching Super League instigator Real Madrid, the Blues find themselves in two finals over the next 3 weeks, the FA vs. Leicester and Champions League vs. heavily favored Man City... Go Blues! In Denver we are hoping for deep playoff runs from both the Avs and the Nuggets. We might have the best team on the ice and we definitely have the Most Valuable Player on the hardwood. On top of that...Aaron Rodgers could be on the way??? We shall see.

Streaming: "For All Mankind" on Apple+ is well worth it. We can't wait for season three. We are also awaiting the next season of "Yellowstone" and "Master of None"...two shows that have very little in common.

That is all for now, if you are in the Denver Metro area and find yourself at Stanley Marketplace, please pop in and say hi!
