Week 3: The Return of the Marathoner

The Latest from Aktiv: Leslie has returned from her Disney Marathon trip. She enjoyed her getaway with her girlfriends and is actively searching out the next race!

What we are streaming: Nate crushed through the second season of "Friends from College" It is a fantastic snapshot for those in their 40s of what it is like to bridge who you are in your present life and who you were in your college years. We finished "Killing Eve" and cannot wait for the second season in April.  

What we are listening to: Nate has been listening to Lord Huron, Uncle Tupelo and Dawes while Leslie continues on her Hozier and First Aid Kit kick.

Best meal of the past week: Lasagna! With Leslie out of town we went all in on a hearty red-sauced lasagna from a Food 52 recipe.

Sports matchup of the week: This is the second week in a row that we are forced to root for an AFC West foe, this time the Chiefs... Come on Patrick Mahomes! Chiefs and Patriots play Sunday, January 20th with the Saints v. Rams starting the day. On the world stage, Chelsea visits the Emirates to take on Arsenal in a London Derby on Saturday. #trueblue

Best things we read this week: 1. This study claims that attending concerts can add years to your life and made us think of Oasis; 2. How Spyware brought down El Chapo; and, 3.  Norway leads the way on electric cars!
