Lightweight women's insulation jacket in a longer cut, padded with Primaloft® Gold. Dunfri Parka is light, highly packable and provides enough warmth to keep you warm in almost any condition. Wear it as a standalone piece or as an extra insulation garment underneath a winter coat.
What makes it special?
The idea behind Dunfri Parka originally came to us from a mountain guide that wanted a longer insulation jacket to bring in his backpack. To stay comfortable in general but also as a safety garment if he had to spend the night outside. An insulation jacket that covers not only the torso but also the hips makes a big difference in a survival situation. Most of us spend a limited amount of nights sitting around in mountain passes but the lightweight, wonderfully warm performance of Dunfri Parka will make you happy however you choose to spend your winters.
How does it work?
Women's Dunfri Parka is made with Spinner Ripstop, a very light and durable fabric and insulated with Primaloft® Gold, a cutting edge synthetic padding. Primaloft® Gold has a similar warmth-to-weight ratio as down, but performs much better in wet conditions. It packs down nicely in a stow pocket and has a wonderful soft feeling. Dunfri Parka is treated with a PFAS-free water repellency treatment. Both the fabric and the insulation is made from 100% recycled and recyclable polyester. We use synthetic padding not only for the performance benefits but also because we don’t believe birds should suffer for our comfort’s sake.
When should I use it?
Bring women's Dunfri Parka to stay warm on your ski touring or climbing expedition, pack it for your camping trip, or simply wear it to fight the cold on your way to work. The combination of clean, minimalist looks with cutting edge performance makes it a true chameleon, both in terms of functionality and style. It can be worn as a standalone piece or as an insulation garment under or over a shell jacket.

Generally, the notion that Scandinavian clothing is significantly smaller than American clothing is overblown. We have found that, for the most part, the sizing from our companies tracks closely to United States companies. When the sizing is something other than standard, we will always state that in the description.
